Ted Kennedy, Anthony Kennedy, and Joe “I want to be a Kennedy when I grow up” Biden
Joey, the odd man out
asadafan asked: AHH I just stumbled on your blog and I'm so excited to have found it!! I adore Jack and Bobby, but my favorite is Teddy, so I'm so psyched to have found this! Thank you for sharing more Ted Kennedy with the world :)
I’m glad you found it!! Seriously, most Kennedy posts are about Jack and Bobby and it got me thinkin’ that my favorite needs some Tumblr love haha that’s what this blog’s here for!! :)
All this talk about Obama and his umbrella, while we really should all be talking about this picture.
That’s right people. Presidents held umbrellas for Ted Kennedy.
Whoa Ted! Cool it with the Red Sox gear geezz
rfkalltheway asked: did you found yet a ted blog that matches up to yours?
Have I found another blog like mine about Ted yet? No, I’ve yet to see another dedicated to Teddy but it’s pretty cool being the only one for now, I get to inform and get peeps to recognize his legacy both the good and the bad, one tumblr user at a time and that’s fun considering I talk about him all day to anyone who’ll listen anyway. Haha :)
Here’s the link if anybody is interested in watching Ethel. It’s amazing!
Kara, Ted Jr., Patrick, and Ted Kennedy
Ted visiting Vietnam in 1965 on a fact finding trip. After returning from this trip Ted was pleased with what he saw and still approved of the war as many politicians did; however it would only be a matter of time before he and others would strongly oppose the war. Some politicians such as George Romney had said that they left such fact finding trips feeling as though they were “brainwashed” by military officials. Ted voiced his opposition in 1967 due to the lack of the U.S.’s progress.
whenever i’m reading about Joe Snr. i’m genuinely like
Whaaattt?! He was a pretty interesting guy, haha he even ranks higher than Jack in my favorite Kennedys list! Check out this cute letter he wrote to a young Teddy:
”I don’t know whether you would have very much excitement during these raids. I’m sure, of course, you wouldn’t be scared, but if you heard all these guns firing every night and bombs bursting you might get a little fidgety…… I hope when you grow up you will dedicate your life trying to make people happy instead of making them miserable as this war does today.
Well, old boy, write me some letters and I want you to know I miss seeing you a lot, for after all, you are my pal, aren’t you?
Love, Dad”

Happy Mother’s Day!
